La Cursa maintains its free nature as the main identity symbol. This year, the online registration period opens on March 11th. Entries will always be online and can be formalized on the web cursaelcorteingles.cat until registering 33.000 participants
Since 1986, La Cursa El Corte Inglés has been associated to an entity. In this 44th edition, the associated entity is the Catalan ALS Foundation Miquel Valls.
At the Catalan ALS Foundation, they work to improve the quality of life of people affected by ALS/Motoneurone Disease.
The Foundation was born in 2005 in Calella (Barcelona) as a private non-profit foundation. It is promoted by Mr. Enric M. Valls, whose father died years earlier due to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and gives our organization its name.
La Cursa maintains circuit
La Cursa El Corte Inglés 2024 maintains its circuit.
The route of La Cursa, which was launched on 2022, is 10 kilometres long. The Federació Catalana Atletisme certifies the time control at the end of the race. The start is located on Av. Diagonal, the route runs through the most emblematic streets of the city, leaving from the same Av. Diagonal, passing through Pg. Gràcia, Aragó street, Viladomat street, Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, turning onto Marina street and arriving at Pl. Catalunya through Àusias March street.
