Can we only register up to 8,000 participants?
There are 8,000 placed reserved for runners with yellow chips. For those not using yellow chips there is no limitation whatsoever on numbers.

I have signed up for La Cursa but I have not yet received the registration receipt. What should I do?
Check that it has not been left in the spam folder of your email. If not, in the registration section of this website, click on proof of registration, enter your ID and download your receipt.

Do I have to pay to take part in the Cursa?
No, La Cursa El Corte Inglés is free.

Can minors run in La Cursa?
The minimum age for yellow chip runners is 16 years. All minors under 18 years may run with the chip inserted into their entrants’ number, although they will need the authorisation of one of their parents/tutors. On the day of the Cursa, they will have to be accompanied by an adult.

Where can I purchase a yellow chip?
The yellow chip is personal. You can buy them in sports stores. There is a list of those in Barcelona and Catalonia in the link www.championchip.cat

Where and when can runners with a yellow chip pick up their bibs?
The number bibs for runners with a yellow chip will be assigned according to the accredited mark. They can be collected at El Corte Inglés de Portal de l'Àngel (0 floor) or El Corte Inglés Diagonal (2nd floor), between Wednesday 26 April and Saturday 6 May 2023 (except on April 30 and May 1, which are public holidays), on the day and time slot chosen. Don't forget the registration receipt and/or your ID card. You can present the receipt by your smartphone.

What will happen to runners without yellow chips who have registered?
Race bibs for runners without a yellow chip can be collected at El Corte Inglés de Portal de l'Àngel or El Corte Inglés Diagonal, between Wednesday 26 April and Saturday 6 May 2023 (except on April 30 and May 1, which are public holidays), on the day and time slot chosen. 

Can I collect a friend or family member’s entrant’s number?
Yes, whether they will run with a yellow chip or not, whenever you provide their registration receipt and their National Identity Card.

Will the start be staggered?
Yes, there will be 5 boxes for runners with a yellow chip and access will be based on the colour of their race bib, located between numbers 617 and 629 on Av. Diagonal. Participants with a dorsal-chip will start from a single box, located after the boxes for participants with a yellow chip.

If I have a yellow chip, what group will I be put into?
Yellow chip start boxes will be allocated according to Championchip time history.

Can I take a pushchair in the yellow chip start area?
The starting points may not be accessed using any type of wheeled apparatus, pushchairs, pushbikes, wheelchairs, etc.

What happens if I leave my yellow chip at home?
You will not have your time recorded, so, remember to bring it!
